  4. To install Forty-Fives:

  6. Unzip 45s.zip to a temporary directory. From Windows 3.1 or Windows
  7. 95, run the SETUP.EXE program.

  9. This setup program does not install the Visual Basic 4.0 runtime
  10. file, VB40016.DLL, which is required. You may already have this file
  11. in your Windows System directory.  If you do not, this file can be
  12. downloaded from most forums and shareware sites.

  15. To un-install Forty-Fives:

  17. Click on the "Uninstall Forty-Fives" icon. Or, run the UNINSTAL.EXE 
  18. which was copied to your 45s directory.

  23. Users of FORTY-FIVES must accept this disclaimer of warranty:

  26. expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties
  27. of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.  The author
  28. assumes no liability for damages, direct or consequential, which
  29. may result from the use of FORTY-FIVES."

  31. FORTY-FIVES is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge to
  32. the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends,
  33. but please do not give it away altered or as part of another system. 
  34. The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal
  35. computer users with quality software without high prices, and yet to
  36. provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop new
  37. products.  If you find this program useful and find that you are
  38. using FORTY-FIVES and continue to use FORTY-FIVES after 14 days, you
  39. must make a registration payment of $15 to New Features Software. The
  40. $15 registration fee will license one copy for use on any one
  41. computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just like a
  42. book.  An example is that this software may be used by any number of
  43. people and may be freely moved from one computer location to another,
  44. so long as there is no possibility of it being used at one location
  45. while it's being used at another, just as a book cannot be read by
  46. two different persons at the same time.

  48. Commercial users of FORTY-FIVES must register and pay for their
  49. copies of FORTY-FIVES within 14 days of first use or their license is
  50. withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by contacting New
  51. Features Software.

  53. Anyone distributing FORTY-FIVES for any kind of remuneration must
  54. first contact New Features Software at the address below for
  55. authorization.  This authorization will be automatically granted to
  56. distributors recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines
  57. for shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  58. FORTY-FIVES immediately (However, New Features Software must still be
  59. advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the
  60. latest version of FORTY-FIVES.).
